The Way of the Cross vs. The Wisdom of Man
The world has a word for the message of the cross. That word is foolishness. Not simply disagreement — but something ridiculous. A wildly unfounded idea. And yet, it is the cross that turns a drunk into a devoted father. It is the cross that turns the crook into a committed truth-teller. It is the cross that makes the weak become strong. Every human system — education, psychology, politics, technology — has been tried. None of them have the answer that one moment at Calvary provides.
