Real love turns outward. That sounds simple enough — until you realize that nothing inside us naturally moves in that direction. Romans 12 calls it “preferring one another.” Philippians 2 shows us why only God’s grace can actually produce it. And 1 John 4:20 tells us exactly what is at stake when a church stops showing it.
